Join Lisa this Wednesday for a peaceful start to your day!
A slow-paced practice that uses long deep stretching, to enhance joint mobility and flexibility, followed by a short guided meditation.
Today's practice has a little extra focus on the kidney and urinary bladder meridians. These meridians are energetic channels, which run throughout our bodies and are connected to various organ systems as well as an emotion that is connected to that meridian. The kidney meridian is connected to fear and anxiety.
Suggested Props: blanket, blocks or books
Poem from Danna Faulds - Allow:
"There's no controlling life. Try corralling a lighting bolt, containing a tornado. Dam a stream and it will create a new channel. Resist, and the tide will sweep you off your feet. Allow, and grace will carry you to higher ground. The only safety lies in letting it all in - the wild and the weak: fear, fantasies, failure and success. When loss rips of the doors of the heart, or sadness veils your vision with despair, practice becomes simply bearing the truth. In the choice to let go of your known way of being, the whole world is revealed to your new eyes.
