This all-levels YHot sequence is a great meditative practice led by Hillary Keegan that invites you to study your own alignment. In our studios, YHot is practiced in 40-degree heat with 40% humidity in front of mirrors for self-study. YHot is a set sequence, however, this sequence can be practiced at home (without the heat and mirrors), and because it is a set sequence is can be incredibly meditative and beneficial to the body. If you feel like it and one is available, you could bring a mirror in front of you to encourage self-study.
Hillary creates a safe and fun class with approachable instruction for anyone. Her mantra reminders invite you to try each pose with confidence and if you're unable to stay in it. You'll be led through the YHot sequence which starts standing and includes chair pose, tree, and dancer's poses. You'll then move to the floor for cobra, camel, and a laying spinal twist.
You don't need anything for this class except for your mat. Press play and enjoy!

Katherine Moore on YHot
YHot is what opened the doors to yoga for Katherine. The sweaty but approachable nature of the class makes it a perfect class for beginners. Intermediate students can easily spice things up by doing the class in a hot space or by taking the harder pose options.
