Restorative yoga can help reduce your heart rate, lower your cortisol levels, and bring you into a state of calm. Using breath and gentle movement, find some inner peace in this class.
Starting in a prone Savasana you'll move through several gentle poses that you'll hold for a period of time. These poses should not feel uncomfortable and will just invite a sense of relaxation. Annabel makes sure to guide you sweetly with various techniques like breath and mantras.
A couple of things to gather before you begin this class — and you can substitute these props for anything you have at home — are:
Two bolsters (or couch cushions or bed pillows)
Two blocks (or books)
A chip foam block (or a book / thinly rolled up blanket)
Set yourself up near a wall
Two or three blankets
Rocks or stones (optional)
Essential oils (optional)
