Get to know Juan in his own words:
Yoga has always been with me since I was born and I believe that we are all born yoginis and yogis because in one form or another we are always striving to be better versions of ourselves. It was not until I began to learn more about the philosophy behind Yoga that I noticed that, for as long as I can remember, I was already trying to apply all these concepts in my life. I have taught retreats and teacher training's in many places across the globe and I love teaching classes in Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Pilates and Aerial Yoga. I have also worked professionally as an independent Dance Artist since 2012." - Juan
Where do you gain your inspiration from?
From my own practice and current studies. Currently, I am completing Body Mind Centering’s Somatic Movement Education program under the guidance of Amy Matthews and Georg Feuerstein’s 800HRS Traditional Yoga Studies ~ a program in History, Literature and Philosophy of Yoga.
How do you want your students to feel after your class?
Centered, with a feeling of ease, and knowing that they learned something new that they can apply to their everyday living.
How has yoga impacted your life?
I was in my early 20’s when I became interested in postural or asana Yoga. At the same time I realized that I was very curious about dance and how the body was another tool for communication. I was longing to find balance amongst my many interests and Yoga was the practice that brought unification; starting me on a new path.

Head to Toe Relaxation (30 min) - with Juan Villegas
Join Juan for 30-minutes of Restorative Yoga. Set yourself to be extra comfy so you can find deep relaxation in this class. We will be using a number of props: 2 blankets, 2 blocks (or books), and 2 bolsters (or cushions/pillows).

Pilates with Weights (35 min) - with Juan Villegas
Join Juan for a fun and challenging pilates with weights class! This class will target the core and the back. Juan has a number of props that are optional to use.
Optional Props: 2 weights (or cans/water bottles), a blanket, a chip foam block (or book), and a bolster (or cushion).
