Looking at the world upside down can give us a new perspective and throughout this class, Mari to gives you several chances to do just that! This is a fun and playful 60-min intermediate power class that will be sure to challenge you and make you sweat. Mari pushes you through a sequence of dynamic poses, holds, and transitions that will leave you feeling energized and agile.
Before moving into the class you're lead through an opening sequence for your wrists and side body. Throughout the class you'll build into several ways and opportunities you can get into your inversion. If this is your first time, no sweat, Mari gives clear instructions and options for those who aren't quite ready to push into a handstand. There is a playfulness that comes from inversion practice, allow yourself to step into the fun of these transitions and poses.
At the end, extend your rest pose as long as you feel your body needs!
This class uses a yoga mat and yoga blocks. If you don't have blocks at home, you can use a stiff pillow, a stack of books or anything similar you have around your home that is stable and supports you in the same way.
