Twisting & Soaring Flow (45 min) - with Sasha Smith

44m
Join Sasha for a hip-opening Vinyasa Flow class. If you have tight hips and hamstrings, this class is for you. Sasha will focus on greatly opening these areas with the ultimate goal of reaching the peak pose, Visvamitrasana. Visvamitrasana is a challenging pose that incorporates many pieces in one. It's a twist, a standing pose, an arm balance, and more.
Props: Sasha suggests having something soft like a pillow or chip foam block to rest your knees on. You can also include yoga blocks if your hips are tight and a yoga strap (or scarf/robe tie). These are all tools to help you feel a light opening without injuring yourself, so take the time to collect some useful items before you begin today's practice.

Drop into your body and find your flow state. This is a minimal cueing class which allows practitioners to listen less to the teacher's voice and more to what is going on in their bodies. It's best suited for well-practiced yogis who have the fundamentals of yoga and proper alignment down.
